PROTEUS MR is a committed champion of tidal energy, having developed its AR series generation systems built upon proven, high performance, reliable and innovative technology.

The company has a rich history spanning over two decades, from its predecessors Marine Current Turbines, Atlantis Resources and more recently SAE, the technology has evolved into the AR series turbine systems. The AR1500 currently deployed and generating at the MeyGen site in Scotland is the most efficient tidal turbine of its size in commercial operation today. In addition to its ongoing responsibilities at MeyGen, Proteus is focused on completing its next round of technology advancements and will deploy this new generation of AR turbines in Japan, France and Scotland.

Proteus has developed the largest and most powerful ever produced and the most efficient in commercial operation in its class, the new AR3000 turbine.

Normandie Hydroliennes will deploy the new Proeteus AR3000 for their project NH1 in le Raz Blanchard.

The Normandie Participations investment fund, created in 2016 by the Normandy Region, has an intervention capacity of €100 million.
